Anionic polyacrylamide is a water-soluble linear polymer synthesized with a high degree of polymerization, which has the properties of flocculation, thickening, shearing, drag reduction, and dispersibility. Although anionic polyacrylamide has a small reduction in the surface tension of water, it has active groups in the molecule, which can change the state of the interface after being adsorbed on the interface. Its amide group (-CONH2) can be affinity with many substances and adsorb to form hydrogen bonds, which can enable it to bridge between adsorbed particles , connecting several or even dozens of particles together, which can promote the aggregation of colloidal particles into large flocs, accelerate the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, and accelerate the clarification of the solution and promote filtration.

【Product Usage】

1. Industrial wastewater treatment. Especially for sewage with neutral or alkaline pH value, relatively large suspended particles in the water, high concentration and positive charge, such as sewage treatment in steel plants, electroplating plants, metallurgical plants and coal washing plants, the effect is very significant.

2. Drinking water treatment. Using this product to treat turbid tap water with high sand content has the advantages of less dosage of chemicals, low cost, and no secondary pollution.

3. Papermaking additives. It can be used as long fiber papermaking dispersant, dry and wet enhancer, retention and filtration aid, and flocculant for papermaking wastewater.

 

【Instructions】

1. When using, it is extremely important to effectively disperse this product in water, otherwise it will cause polyacrylamide to clump and produce "fish eyes", and the dissolution time will be increased.

2. When dissolving the product, water with relatively low hardness is required. It is best not to use materials that can easily affect the water quality in the dissolving tank.

3. Using warm water can speed up the dissolution rate, but too high a temperature will cause thermal degradation of the molecular chain and affect the viscosity. Generally, the water temperature should not exceed 50°C.

4. Stirring helps dissolution, but too intense stirring will cause the long polymer chains to break and degrade. It is best to use a ship-type propeller with a speed of 200-500rpm.

5. Generally, dissolve polyacrylamide to make it 0.05%-0.5% for later use.

6. The optimal dosage of polyacrylamide varies depending on the application.
